The Android 11 developer preview is available for Google smartphones only including Pixel 2/2 XL, Pixel 3/3 XL, Pixel 3a/3a XL, and Pixel 4/4 XL. These smartphone users can on the Android developer website here and download the preview. Let’s know about some important Android 11 features.

Bubbles

This feature will let the users access their messages coming in the user interface through floating Bubbles. It was earlier supposed to be rolled out with Android 10, but now it can be rolled out with Android 11. Bubbles can be Google’s own messaging feature that can also make it easy to access messages from other apps like WhatsApp as well.

Conversations

This feature can be seen next to the notifications. While using the messaging app, notifications and conversations will be two tabs, in which your notifications can be seen in one tab while in another tab you can check messages and reply. Messages from any social media or messaging app can be seen in this tab.

App Permission

Android 11 will offer much better app permission features just like iOS. Google has already made app permissions better than all previous Android versions in Android 10. Now, in this upcoming version of the operating system, app permissions will be even better, so that user’s personal information cannot be accessed through camera, mic and location data.

Screen Recording

Google rolled out a screen recording feature in Android 10 Beta, which was not seen in the final version. Now, this feature can be seen in Android 11. Android 11 developer preview 2 will be released in March and next in April. After that first Beta will come in May during Google I/O and the final stable release will be at the end of Q3 2020.
