According to a report from DigiTimes, Jerry Shen, Asus CEO, is busy in promoting the Zenfone 4 lineup and has confirmed about the launch of Zenfone 5 series in March 2018. In addition, the CEO has also confirmed that the Zenfone 3 series has received a significant response from the markets like France, Italy, Spain, and Russia. The manufacturer is also expecting itself to be listed among the profitable seven smartphone vendors globally. Usually, Asus releases its smartphones in the month of April or May every year but, this year, the unavailability of mid-range Snapdragon chipsets lead to a delayed launch event to August. There are total six smartphones in the Asus Zenfone 4 lineup and just like every year, the company will be launching several phones in the Zenfone 5 lineup.
The recently introduced lineup of Asus includes Zenfone 4 Selfie, Zenfone 4 Selfie Dual Camera, and Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro. All the three smartphones are aimed at selfie lovers and the company has done the pricing just right for the entire range. The base variant is priced at Rs. 9,999 whereas, the Zenfone 4 selfie Dual Camera version comes at Rs. 14,999 (now available at Rs. 13,999) and the premium Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro retails at Rs. 23,999. All the three smartphones are available on Flipkart as an exclusive offering. Although the smartphone maker is yet to launch the standard Zenfone 4 and premium Zenfone 4 Pro smartphones in India they are already performing quite well in Taiwan. The Zenfone 4 comes with beautiful glass back that makes it a premium looking phone in the segment. Whereas, there are other smartphones likes Zenfone 4 Max that will launch soon other than Zenfone 4 in India. Let’s see how the new range performs in the local market.
