So, in order to take control in hands, Axis Bank initiated one of the largest crowdsourcing initiative to improve the conditions of job in India and bringing ideas that can create more jobs in the country.

The idea got a huge response from the youngsters and even people from the middle age group and The Axis Bank – Future Of Jobs campaign received over 21,000 entries. These entries were across different industries which include agriculture, IT, ITES and tourism. Among all the entries, 11% came from the young working professionals while 89% entries were from the students.

The whole concept behind this initiative was to generate ideas from the youth of the country and providing them a platform to come together and offer a place to accomplish their vision in shaping the future of jobs in India. So, here are the top 5 finalists whose ideas were appreciated by the jury the most.

Top 5 Startup Ideas

Berozgaars

The team came up with a platform through which employment can be provided in the unorganized sector. This is the sector where most of the labour class and other small vendors and business holders work. Whether you are a job provider or a job seeker in the particular segment, there is no organized way to reach and fulfill the requirements. Team Berozgaars came up with an app through which one can log in as a job provider or job seeker and get connected in the circle to get the right payment and work.

Team Bodhi

Team Bodhi has vision to utilize the E-waste in an effective manner. The team has worked to come up with a platform that provides a solid e-waste management system and can use the waste materials from the households, offices and other areas to shape into something good.

MyColor

In order to replace the hazardous chemical colors in day to day usage, team MyColor’s idea is to work with microbial and floral colors to minimize the risk involved with the chemical colors.

Crayonts

In order to make operations in the agricultural field smooth and effective. Crayonts have come up with an idea of providing equipment and other additional services to farmers on per use basis. Here, farmers can get the required assistance in a cost-effective manner along with guidance to use resources in an optimal manner.

Chai Pe Charcha

The team came up with an idea of growing vegetables on the rooftops of the building by taking it on a lease. Further, the vegetables will be sold through special stores making way for employment for high as well as low skill people. The winner was MyColor and the first-runner up was Berozgaars while the second runner-up was Team Bodhi.

So, these were the ideas, which were appreciated by the jury members which include Ashutosh Pandey (CEO, Tata Cliq), Renu Karnad (MD, HDFC, Ltd.), Sahil Vachani (CEO Max-Ventures), Shankar Narayanan (Co-founder, Active Intelligence), Ved Arya (Srijan), Rohit Thakur (CHRO, Accenture) and Akash Lal (Senior Partner, Mckinsey & Company).
