Initially, Google designed the Daydream View headset especially for its Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. However, later it was found, the headset was also compatible with Moto Z, Z Force with Android Nougat Update. After that, it gets support in some latest smartphones including recently launched Moto Z2 Force. Also, the Asus Zenfone AR that was launched last month comes with Daydream support. Other phones that have Daydream View support include Huawei Mate 9 Pro, Porsche Design Mate 9 and ZTE Axon 7. Google has also announced Daydream support for upcoming LG V30. Now, it will be supporting Samsung flagships Galaxy S8 and S8+ with a software update. Google has announced about it already at the I/O 2017 back in May. Earlier, the smartphone gives an error message when a user tries to install Google Daydream app on it. However, the update will take some time to finish rolling out for all users.
