Adhering to the speculations, the HTC One E8 features a polycarbonate plastic unibody casing instead of a metallic one. Also, its rear panel provides room to a 13 MP standalone camera rather than the Duo Camera setup in the One M8. Besides these aspects, the smartphone comes with a similar 5 inch FHD 1080p display layered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as in the Desire 816 and One Mini 2. Under the hood is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset paired with Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat, the HTC One E8 packs a 5 MP camera that is accompanied by dual stereo speakers with inbuilt amplifiers and BoomSound technology at the front. Other goodies onboard are 16 GB of internal storage that can expanded up to a whopping 128 GB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MHL, 4G LTE, GPS, NFC, dual SIM support and a 2,600 mAh battery. The HTC One E8 comes in a range of vibrant colors including Polar White, Electric Crimson, Misty Gray and Maldives Blue. While the availability of the handset is pegged for June, there is no word on its pricing front.
