Huawei launched the Y9 2019 back in January that features dual front and dual rear cameras. Now, this Y9 Prime 2019 comes as a successor to that phone with several improvements.

The new Y9 Prime 2019 sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+(2340 × 1080 pixels) 19:5:9 aspect ratio display. It is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 710 12nm processor with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. It packs 4GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage that is expandable up to 512GB.

The triple camera set up has a 16-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It sports a 16MP pop-up front camera. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top. Connectivity options include triple slots, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS. It packs a 4000mAh battery with fast charging support. There is a back-mounted fingerprint sensor. Dimensions of the phone are 163.5×77.3×8.8mm and its weight is 196.8g.

The Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is priced at 969 Saudi Riyal (Rs. 18,170 approx.) for the 128GB version. It comes in Midnight Black, Emerald Green, and Sapphire Blue colors and is available for pre-order in the Middle East and sale will start from May 23.
