To recall, Motorola launched the Moto G5S Plus along with Moto G5S earlier this month in Europe. The new phones are the successors of the previously launched Moto G5 Plus and Moto G5 respectively. Motorola has priced the phone at 299 Euros, which translates to approximately Rs. 22,500. The Moto G5S Plus comes with improved cameras, bigger display, and better design in comparison to its predecessor. The highlight of Moto G5S Plus is its dual camera setup at the back, with two 13-megapixel sensors.

Moto G5S Plus Specifications

If we recall the specifications and features of the Moto G5S Plus, it comes with significant improvements compared to the Moto G5 Plus. The handset features all-metal unibody design and a bigger 5.5-inch display. The Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Moreover, it gets the new Moto Experiences- a new Night Display and Quick Reply. The phone runs Android 7.1 (Nougat) out of the box.

Moto G5S Plus is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 chipset clocked at 2GHz, coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The phone comes in two storage variants similar its predecessor, but the RAM is 3GB instead of 2GB for the 32GB version. The other version is the same with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The cameras are the major highlight of the Moto G5S Plus. The phone sports 13MP dual camera setup at the rear. The dual camera with f/2.0 aperture includes one monochrome and one RGB sensor. The cameras feature dual-tone LED flash and support 4K video recording. On the front, there is an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The phone sports front mounted fingerprint sensor, and it comes with a gesture recognition feature. The G5S Plus is powered by a 3000mAh battery with Turbo Charging support. The phone also features water repellent coating. On the connectivity front, the phone includes dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and NFC.
