OnePlus 5T Specifications

At the launch, the OnePlus 5T comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with Oxygen OS on top, but the Oreo update shouldn’t be too far off. It comes with some new features of OxygenOS as well. Moreover, they have introduced a Face unlock feature also, which claims to unlock the device within 0.4 seconds.

The device comes with a 6.01-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The display is protected by a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Powering the OnePlus 5T is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with an octa-core processor and Adreno 540 GPU. Further, the phone will come with 6GB and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM options, coupled with 64GB or 128GB of 2-Lane UFS 2.1 internal storage. In other terms, these specs are the best currently available in the market, confirming that OnePlus is continuing to use the best internals available in the market.

Coming to the imaging department, the OnePlus 5T features a dual camera setup on the back. The primary sensor is a Sony IMX 398 with a 16MP camera, f/1.7 aperture and 1.12um pixel size, while the secondary sensor is a Sony IMX 376K with a 20MP camera and an f/1.7 aperture too. The rear cameras are assisted by a dual LED flash and support up to 4K video recording. OnePlus also confirms that the 5T will come with slow-motion video recording support, allowing you to record 720p videos at 120fps, or 1080p videos at 60fps. On the front, the OnePlus 5T features a 16MP camera with a Sony IMX 371 sensor and f/2.0 aperture. Both the front and the rear cameras also support Time Lapse recording. Other features of the OnePlus 5T include a fingerprint sensor which has been moved to rear, dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and USB 2.0 Type C port. The phone is powered by a 3,300mAh battery and comes with Dash Charging support.
