OnePlus has tweeted on their official twitter page which includes a short animated video with a caption “Slide to adjust the focus.” The slider in current OnePlus smartphones is only used to control the sound settings, it switches the audio profile to full volume, do not disturb mode and complete silence. The OnePlus 6 will use the slider to refocus the smartphone’s camera while the camera app is open. OnePlus might make this feature controllable and OnePlus might also make this slider remappable or just disable it. There will definitely be a disable option in the Oxygen OS. OnePlus may also make this feature available for the OnePlus 5 or OnePlus 5T in a future firmware update. OnePlus is very much focused on the launch of the next flagship smartphone, OnePlus 6 at this time. The rumors about the smartphones are pointing the smartphone to get released by the end of this month. The OnePlus 6 will feature a large display with a notch and thin bezels. The smartphone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with at least 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. We will update you with all the latest leaks about the smartphone.
