The OPPO Neo 5 is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad Core MediaTek MT6582 which is supported by 1GB of RAM. The phone sports a 4.5 inch IPS display with a resolution of 480 x 854 and a 2000mAh non-removable Li-Polymer battery. It claims to provide 180 hours of standby time. The phone also features dual SIM slots, one of which is a Micro-SIM slot and the other one is a Nano-SIM slot. The device runs on Color OS 2.0.1i based on Android 4.4 Kitkat, which looks really neat and clean aesthetically. Other features on the phone include an 8 Megapixel primary camera and a 2 Megapixel secondary camera. The phone also sports an LED flash with the primary camera. The on-board storage for the device is 8GB only, but it can be expanded with the help of a Micro-SD card up to 32GB in size. The phone has a unique mirror-like appearance which looks really good. Tom Lu, CEO of OPPO Mobile India said in a statement that the OPPO Neo 5 is targeted at customers who want superior specifications at decent pricing. OPPO has a target of reaching and catering to all mobile phone segments in the market and is trying to focus on rural India more than urban India.
