While the newest Android version is the showstopper of the latest update, there are other goodies too. OnePlus has added the 1st March 2017 iteration of the Google Security Patch. The latest update will let you capture expanded screenshots through your OnePlus 3 and 3T. Another important aspect of the new OxygenOS 4.1 is improved camera performance while taking pictures of moving objects. The photos will now have visibly less blur. Other improvements include enhanced stability of video recordings, better Wi-Fi connectivity, and superior Bluetooth performance. The new update brings some bug fixes too and a new bunch of emoji. The update weighs around 353 MB. Do not worry if you can’t find the latest update in your OnePlus 3 / 3T, it is currently rolling out only in Canada and Germany with imminent worldwide availability. However, if you still can’t wait to try the brand new update, then change your device location to Canada or Germany, and you will get it. We do not recommend you to do this as every smartphone firmware has some location-centric changes and you may end up with some occasional glitches. Just for a recap, the Android 7.0 Nougat update came to the OnePlus 3 and 3T in January this year. It was based on OxygenOS 4.0 and brought a host of new features and refinements.
