It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G80 12nm processor with up to 4GB LPPDDR4x RAM. The device packs up to 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage, which is expandable up to 512GB with microSD.
Software
The smartphone runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top. It is also upgradable to the latest MIUI 12.

The quad-camera setup at the back consists of a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, an 8MP 118° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP depth, and a 5MP 4cm macro camera. It has an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Redmi 9 Price & Availability in India
Redmi 9 price starts at €149 for the 3GB + 32GB version and 4GB + 64GB version is priced at €179. However, for now, it is available at an offer price of €139 (Rs. 11,900 approx.) for the 3GB/32GB and €169 (Rs. 14,500 approx.) for the 4GB/64GB version. The Redmi 9 price in India is expected to start at Rs. 11,999. It will soon launch in India and may be available here in a few weeks.
