Android Marshmallow is keeping the smartphone market and internet abuzz since the day it was announced by tech giant Google. With many devices already running the latest upgrade from Google, others are waiting for their tunr to get the Marshmallow upgrade. Many device manufacturers have announced plans for the rollout of this upgrade in the coming months, there is no mention of Marshmallow upgrade from Samsung for its devices. But looks like this is not the case. TimesNews.co.uk has reported that Samsung will be rolling out the latest upgrade to a number of Samsung devices in the coming months. Samsung Galaxy S5 is slated to get the latest version of Android OS in the next month i.e. December. Likewise Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will be getting the upgrade next month. Samsung’s flagship smartphone for the year Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will get the upgrade in January next month. Apart from these models, some devices launched last year including Note 4 and Note Edge will get the taste of latest Android 6.0 sometime in February. Other devices that are rumored to get the Marshmallow upgrade are Samsung Galaxy A8 and Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Although, there has been no official word from Samsung considering the rollout of updates for these devices or any other device. But we can expect an announcement soon from the brand as more and more manufacturers are participating in the race for upgrading their devices to Android 6.0.
