Now, there are reports that Samsung is planning to bring more phones in the new Galaxy M series and Galaxy M30 could be the next phone. The smartphone was rumoured for a long time and we also have some hints about what it is possibly going to have inside.
Galaxy M30 Rumoured Specs
The reports and rumours suggest that the upcoming Galaxy M30 will come with an improved design and specs in comparison to Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M10. For instance, unlike the plastic back panels on M10 and M20, the M30 might come with a glass back panel. It is expected to sports a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. It will be Infinity U display that is what Samsung calls its new notch displays.
Talking about the hardware, Galaxy M30 is expected to be powered by an octa-core Exynos 7904 chipset, the same chipset that powers the Galaxy M20. It is a 14nm processor clocked at up to 1.8GHz and has six A-53 and two A-73 cores. This is comparable to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 chipset. Memory wise, the phone is expected to pack at least 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy M30 is expected to sport three rear cameras. It is also being speculated that it could be the same triple camera setup that is on Galaxy A7 2018. It could sport a 24 MP main sensor, an 8 MP secondary sensor with 18mm ultra wide-angle lens and a 5 MP depth sensor. It could also support optical zoom. The phone is expected to sport a 16MP front camera. The Galaxy M30 is expected to pack a massive 5,000mAh battery just like the Galaxy M20. It will also support fast charging with USB Type C port. The device will also retain 3.5mm headphone jack.
Expected Price, Availability
The Galaxy M30 price in India is expected to be Rs. 17,990. If we talk about the launch date, the company could launch it in February end or in the first week of March. We should know more details about Galaxy M30 and other upcoming Galaxy M series phones in India in the coming weeks.
