The Sony Xperia XA2 has been launched along with the Sony Xperia L2 and the Xperia XA2 Ultra. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo so it will come with support for Treble. The company has not revealed the pricing of the device and it is expected to be announced in the coming days.

The Sony Xperia XA2 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and features a 5.5 inch full HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. The display comes with Image Enhance technology and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

In terms of performance, the Sony Xperia XA2 is powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor clubbed with with Adreno 508 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD. Coming to the camera department, the Sony Xperia XA2 features a 23MP primary camera with Exmor RS sensor, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 84-degree wide-angle and an LED flash. On the front, the device comes with an 8MP secondary camera with a 120-degree wide angle lens and f/2.4 aperture. The Sony Xperia XA2 is powered by a 3,300mAh battery and comes with Quick Charge 3.0 and Qnovo Adaptive Charging. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port. Dimension wise, the device measures 142 x 70 x 9.7 mm and weighs 171 grams.
