Well-known mostly for its computer networking products, TP-Link had launched a few mid-range smartphones as well – the Neffos X1 and Neffos X1 Max, launched last year, offered decent specs at affordable prices. This time the company is planning to launch a new Neffos smartphone with top-notch specifications, according to a Ukrainian publication TEHNOT.

The TP-Link Neffos is expected to sport a 6-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio, allowing the company to keep the bezels to a minimum. From the leaked images, it is visible there are no physical capacitive buttons on the front.

Coming to the hardware, the Neffos smartphone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor. Memory wise, it could come with 6GB of RAM and a few storage options up to 256GB. In the camera department, the TP-Link Neffos could offer a dual camera setup on the back – the primary sensor is said to be of 16MP resolution along with a 20MP secondary camera and 2x optical zoom. Other features include a fingerprint sensor on the back, dual SIM and 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Finer details are not known yet. For now, there are no further details regarding the launch, availability, and pricing of new TP-Link Neffos. TP-Link, which until now manufactured low-end and mid-range smartphones, could offer the Neffos flagship smartphone at decent prices, going by its pricing strategies so far.
