The Mi 8 Youth Edition sports a 6.26-inch FHD+ (2280×1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass LCD display with 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI on top. In terms of optics, it also sports a dual camera setup with a 12MP primary Sony IMX363 sensor with 1.4μm pixel size, f/1.9 aperture, and a 5MP secondary Samsung S5K5E8 sensor. Up front, there is a 24MP front camera with Sony IMX576 sensor.

Connectivity options on the phone include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C port. The device packs a 3350mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support. It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition is priced at CNY 1,399 (Rs. 14,800 approx.) for the 4GB/64GB variant. While the 6GB/64GB model costs CNY 1,699 (Rs. 18,000 roughly) and the top-end 6GB/128GB variant comes at CNY 1,999 (Rs. 21,200 approx.). The phone comes in three gradient Aurora Blue, Sunset Gold, and Midnight Black color options and is available for pre-orders starting today. It will go on sale from September 25.

The Mi 8 Pro pricing starts at CNY 3,199 (Rs. 34,000 approx.) for the 6GB/128GB variant. While the 8GB/128GB model is priced at CNY 3,599 (Rs. 38,200 roughly). This phone also comes in three gradient Sunset Gold, Black, and Transparent Titanium color versions. Its pre-orders are starting today and it will go on sale from September 21.
