The Mi Max 3 is the successor to last year’s Mi Max 2 smartphone and the new phablet comes with several improvements. Xiaomi has launched the phone in two storage variants- one with 4GB RAM and another with 6GB RAM.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 price, availability
The Mi Max 3 price starts at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 17,300) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. While the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,999 (Rs. 20,400 approx.). The smartphone is currently available for pre-orders and will gon on sale starting July 20 in China.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Specifications
The Mi Max 3 sports a 6.9 inches Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 processor with Adreno 509 GPU and 4GB or 6GB RAM. It comes with 64GB or 128GB storage with expandable memory up to 128GB. The smartphone runs MIUI on top of Android Oreo. In terms of camera, the Mi Max 3 sports a dual rear camera setup with a 12MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor, both with f/1.9 aperture. The camera also sports AI portrait mode and dual-LED flash. There is an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture, and soft selfie light. It also supports face recognition feature. Connectivity option on the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 include dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm jack. The phablet has a 5,500mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging tech. The device comes in Dark Blue, Dream Gold, and Meteorite Black color options.
