After 8X-1000 and 8X-1200, Domestic Smartphone manufacturer Xolo has launched Xolo 8X-1100 in India prices at 14,999 INR. All three smartphones have MT6592 quad core chipset clocked at different frequencies, but Xolo isn’t offering its custom UI, Xolo Hive in this smartphone.
The IPS LCD display is 5 inches in size and sports 1080p full HD 720p HD resolution. The display is also protected by Gorilla Glass 3 for better durability. Xolo is marketing its 8X series as gaming smartphones and thus all of these come preinstalled with Xolo Play Zone where users can download several paid games at discounted rates. 1.7 GHz MT6592 humming inside is assisted by Mali 450 MP4 GPU clocked at 700 MHz and 2 GB RAM. Internal storage is 16 GB and can be further extended to 32 GB using MicroSD card support.
Imaging hardware includes 13 MP rear camera with high sensitivity Sony Exmor RS Sensor and faster auto focus with closed loop function. Front camera too comes with a wide angle lens and a 5 MP BSI sensor for better low light performance. You can record 1080p full HD videos and enjoy multimedia content with dual speakers featuring DTS Surround sound. Battery capacity is 2100 mAh. Other features include USB OTG, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, Hotknot for fast file sharing, Dual SIM (3G + 2G), Gyroscope and GPS. Xolo 8X-1100 running on Andorid 4.4 kitkat seems to check all boxes. The phone is a competitive offering from Xolo priced at 14,999 INR. It seems to be a better option than Xolo 8X-1000 for an extra 1000 INR.
