The new phone comes with a 5 inch display 720p HD resolution. The resolution is well suited as the phone is meant for Gamers and thus 720p resolution won’t tax the Mali 450 GPU as much as full HD as it will have to push far lesser pixels in each frame. The chipset used is 1.5 GHz MT6591 Hexa core which debuted in Karbonn Titanium Hexa. The chipset is aided with Mali 450 GPU clocked at 600 MHz and 2 GB RAM. This sounds like enough power to handle high end gaming smoothly. Internal memory is 8 GB can be extended to 32 GB using MicroSD card support. For imaging, Xolo is using the same 8 MP BSI 2 sensor which we have seen in almost all recent Xolo smartphones. Rear camera enjoys LED flash support and can record full HD videos. A front 2 MP shooter is also present for video calling.

The battery capacity is 2100 mAh which can be charged in 3 hours. Video playback time is 4.31 hours according to Xolo and Standby time is 581 hours on 2G. we are guessing that this will last for around 3 hours of high end gaming, which isn’t that bad. The phone runs on latest Android 4.4 KitKat and other features include HSPA+, WiFi, Gyroscopre sensor and Bluetooth 4.0. Xolo Play 6x- 1000 sounds like a worthy successor of Xolo Play T1000 which was launched last year targeting the same audience. Users can also download games from Xolo Play Zone for 75 percent discount. Several high end games are also available for free on Xolo Play Zone. We are excited to spend some more time with the device.
